Pulp romance attractively played and photograph -- even Mongo (aka Nicholas, the giant man-baby) is handsome in his own way. John Woolfolk (Frank Mayo) is the hero of the piece, a widower who has been sailing the seven seas for three years with his trusty cook/first mate/comedy relief. Millie (Virginia Valli) lives with her severely depressed grandpa on the coast of Georgia, where Mongo's idea of putting her on a pedestal has her surrounded by hungry gators. Needless to say, he soon becomes jealous of the middle-aged captain.
